Today my first post over @ is out today. I am so excited. So if you have come over to my blog from there, Welcome! If you are a regular reader, then please go check out my friend Mandy’s blog.
I feel very blessed to have been asked by Mandy to contiribute articles on military life. I look forward to more articles being published. But for now I am just so excited to have my post up today. 🙂
Thanks again Mandy for this fabulous opportunity!
I haven’t done this in forever, but I thought I would back in to it again.
1.How many pets do you have? And what type?
We have 2 pets. One dog a chow-rott named Chyna. One kitty named Punky not sure what specific breed she is as we found her when she was about 3 weeks old.
2.What are your favorite projects to do while hubby is away?
I attempt to lose weight but yeah that doesn’t happen too often since I am an emotional eater. 😦
3.What are the must-haves in your deployment care packages?
4.If you could star in any TV show, which would it be?
I have no desire to be on any TV show.
5.What was the biggest hurdle that you faced during your/your significant other’s first deployment?
I was pregnant with my youngest and ended up spotting at 28 weeks. Thankfully he was able to come home.
This is my first time linking up.
Feel free to look around my blog. It is has been pretty crazy around here over the last few days with all the tornadoes and storms.
I am very grateful that we got power back. I am grateful that we are in a much safer house. I am grateful that my family is safe.
Anyways, I hope you will bookmark me and comment. I also hope that you will come back. I promise to come and comment back.
Our power returned around noon time today. At that point we had been without power for about 23 hours. I am so grateful to all the people at the electric company that busted butt to get power back on for all the people who lost power.
I promise to write more later on this week. But first it is getting to be my bedtime and my pillow is callin’ my name.
It’s been a rough 17+ hours here. There was a tornado about 7 miles from where I live. Thankfully we and our house are safe. We just have no power.
I am praying we get power back soon. We have lots of food that will be wasted now. 😦
Hopefully insurance will reimburse us.
Just wanted to let you all know we are safe.

Last night wasn’t a good night for me. I was in severe pain for most of the evening. If it wasn’t my stomach it was the rest of my body voicing its dislike of me working out.
So last night I went to bed after dinner. I wasn’t able to go to sleep till my normal time but I was able to rest. Then around 8pm or so it was “date time” for Hubz and I. We love the show NCIS and NCIS: LA. So we ended up watching those together before calling it a night.
So with my body revolting, I am taking it VERY easy today with just doing some cleaning up in my “office” and getting an order placed for a customer.
Wednesday Question: What do you do for your date time with your spouse?

The sun is shining and the breeze is feeling amazing. I am totally loving these warmer temps these days. Yesterday I took a walk around the neighborhood and boy did it feel good. I am looking forward to taking a walk tomorrow with a good friend of mine. 🙂
Now that the weather is getting warmer the boys are going outside after homework has been complete and playing till dinner time. I am loving hearing their laughter as the run around the backyard.
I am hoping that Hubz and I can get their sandbox built this coming weekend. Lil dude still lovings playing in the sandbox so we are building one. I promise to show pictures. 🙂
Well I am going to finish up my breakfast and get to working on a few more things online.
Have a great day!!
